14 Jul 08 Playing Catchup with my website

I’ve decided to ditch Joomla for something a little simpler and easier to use.  I’ve reinstaled WordPress, and taken Dave’s approach to using an hour counter within WordPress. Being pretty competent in PHP and SQL, I figured I can always run with this site pretty easily if i want to do something neato with tracking hours and such.  Given how much time this plane is taking to build, I think i’ll focus on building planes and not building websites, but we’ll see.  Best keep as much data as possible, and manage presenting it later.

I’ll be updating this Blog with the progress I’ve made so far in the next few days.  I also am taking the FAA written test on Wednesday, so I’ll focus on that first :).
