12 Aug 08 Started Vertical Stabilizer

On Sunday I started the VS.  Spent about an hour clecoing and match drilling the spars, stiffener, ribs, and skin.  And that’s as far as I got–its still sitting out there ready to match drill the skins.

Just match-drilled the hinge brackets.  This all seemed a lot easier than when I was starting the HS, probably cause i’ve already done it once.  Up the learning curve a bit now.

Taking shape … I’ve already fluted the ribs, another task I struggled with before.
